WB JELET 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must carefully check the eligibility criteria based on their qualifying examination before applying.
For Admission to Engineering & Technology Degree Courses:
- Diploma Holders: Passed a minimum 3-year Diploma in Engineering/Technology with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories).
- B.Sc. Graduates: Passed B.Sc. with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) and must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics.
- B.Voc./D.Voc. Graduates: Passed B.Voc/3-year D.Voc. in the same or allied sector.
For Admission to Pharmacy Degree Courses:
- Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) Holders: Passed D.Pharm from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories).
Age Limit:
- Diploma Holders (Engg/Tech/D.Voc./Pharmacy): No upper age limit.
- B.Sc. Candidates: Maximum 27 years as of 31.12.2026.
- Marine Engineering Diploma Holders: Maximum 25 years as of 31.12.2026.

Candidates will have to choose their preferred examination zones at the time of application. The zone list varies based on the candidate’s domicile status (West Bengal, Tripura, or other States/UTs).
