Every year fans of the one and only Shah Rukh Khan wait for November 2, a day when thousands gather outside his iconic Mannat home in Mumbai, hoping to catch even a glimpse of him. However, just like last year, the actor couldn’t continue his long-time tradition of greeting fans outside Mannat due to heavy security restrictions. Despite that, Shah Rukh Khan birthday celebrations continued in full spirit through his grand fan event #SRKDAY.
Shah Rukh Khan ‘s birthday celebration was nothing short of magical. Fans from across India and around the world including Peru, Indonesia, Dubai, Japan and Nepal gathered to celebrate their idol. The event began with various fan clubs performing on stage, and the energy soared when SRK made his grand entry to the iconic song ‘Main Hoon Na’. The hall echoed with cheers as the superstar smiled, waved and greeted everyone with unmatched warmth.
During the fan meet, Shah Rukh interacted with fans in a live #AskSRK session by answering their fun and heartfelt questions. He even revisited some of his most loved film scenes from classics like Swades, Asoka, Chak De! India and more sharing special behind-the-scenes stories and never-heard-before anecdotes.
A highlight of the evening was the giant cake-cutting ceremony, marking 60 glorious years of SRK. As he thanked his fans for their unconditional love, he called them his “family”. Even though he couldn’t meet them at Mannat, he didn’t disappoint.. waving, blowing kisses and greeting fans outside the fan meet venue, recreating the Mannat moment in his own beautiful way.
As the night ended with group photos and return gifts for fans, one thing became clear – Shah Rukh Khan never misses a chance to make his admirers feel special. No matter where he is, he finds a way to keep his tradition alive. That’s the magic of SRK – a star who belongs to his fans, always and forever.
