Aditya Pancholi is an Indian actor and producer known for his work mainly in Hindi cinema. He rose to fame during the late 1980s and early 1990s, frequently taking on leading roles, but subsequently became more recognized for his performances in supporting or antagonistic roles.
Aditya Pancholi has openly acknowledged that he struck Kangana Ranaut during their relationship. In a 2008 interview with Mumbai Mirror, he disclosed that he physically attacked her after learning she had sent personal messages to another actor while they were together. He remarked, “I recalled that the phrases she used for this actor were also the ones she employed when she called me from South Africa. That was the first occasion I hit her. We argued and reconciled.”
In 2019, actress Kangana Ranaut, who had formerly been in a relationship with him, lodged a police report alleging that Pancholi had drugged, raped, assaulted, and blackmailed her for sex repeatedly over an extended period beginning in 2003. She reiterated these allegations in an interview with Aap ki Adalat on India TV and mentioned an incident of assault that took place in public.
Kangana later affirmed that he was the individual who had mistreated her during her childhood. She recounted the event, stating, “This man, who was the same age as my father, struck me forcefully on my head when I was 17. I began to bleed. I removed my sandal and struck his head forcefully, causing him to bleed as well. I filed a police report against the man.”
Pancholi asserted in his defense that the allegations were untrue and as reprehensible as her entire association with him. He claimed that Ranaut had taken advantage of him both financially and emotionally in a deliberate manner and had utilized his influence to establish a position for herself as an actress.
Their relationship is said to have concluded following Kangana’s filing of a police report against Aditya for physical assault. Subsequently, Aditya publicly charged her with infidelity and asserted that she was indebted to him. In response, Kangana labeled him as her “mentor turned tormentor.”
This revelation is part of a larger trend of Kangana discussing her previous relationships and the difficulties she encountered, which includes her interactions with Aditya Pancholi.
