Dhanush and Nayanthara’s first public appearance caught on camera at the same wedding hall, which quickly became a trending topic online. Their appearance comes shortly after news of their dispute over a No Objection Certificate (NOC) broke. Even though they were sitting close to each other in the front row, who did not interact at all, leaving fans curious and flooding reactions online.
Both Dhanush and Nayanthara attended the wedding of producer Aakash Baskaran who is involved in Dhanush’s upcoming movie Idli Kadai. Nayanthara came with her husband, director Vignesh Shivan and was seen chatting with other guests. Meanwhile, Dhanush sat nearby but both did not engage with eachother at all.

It sparked a meme frenzy as a Redditor hilariously compared the feud to an iconic scene of rivalry between Rajinikanth and Ramya Krishna from the movie ‘Padayappa’. Another user shared a meme of two individuals exchanging side-eyes while oozing ego, sitting next to each other. A third meme featured the caption, “Keep your enemies close,” with many more creative takes flooding social media.

The problem between Dhanush and Nayanthara started over the use of behind-the-scenes footage from the movie Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, which Dhanush produced. Nayanthara used the footage in her documentary Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairytale but didn’t get an NOC from Dhanush.

Nayanthara said she had been asking for the NOC for two years but got no response. However, Dhanush’s father, Kasthuri Raja denied this, calling her claims false! The issue has now become a legal matter and both sides have lawyers involved.
