The Galaxy S23 series debuted with a neat feature called Image Clipper. As the name suggests, the feature lets you select a subject and clip it straight out of the image, provided that the subject is well-defined. For the most part, the feature worked really well, and it easily became the go-to tool for anyone who wanted to clip subjects. Now, if you are wondering how to use Image Clipper on Samsung Galaxy phones, this tutorial is for you because, with the rollout of One UI 5.1, Samsung started delivering the feature to older Galaxy phones, as well.

So, how do you use Image Clipper on Samsung Galaxy phones? Don't worry. We are going to look at how you can go ahead and use this tool and be able to extract any subject you want from a picture.

So, it is important to know that the Image Clipper feature can work on Samsung Gallery and Samsung Internet. You will also need one of the recent Galaxy S, Z, or Note devices running One UI 5.1 alongside Android 13 and the latest version of Samsung Gallery. So, if currently, it is not working for you, you can go ahead and update the app and your phone, as well.

That said, here is how to use Image Clipper on Samsung Galaxy phones.

Step 1: Stary by opening Samsung Gallery only your phone.

Step 2: Once you are in the gallery, look for the Photo you want to clip.

Step 3: Now, simply press and hold on to the subject you want to clip from the image.

Step 4: The Image Clipper will let you drag that image around. Then press Copy, and it will send the image to your clipboard. You can even press Share if you want to send it directly to another app, or you can just go ahead and save the image.

Once you have clipped the image, you have a perfectly clipped image that you can use to make a sticker, share it, or use it as a picture if you want. The possibilities are there with you, and the whole usage is as easy as it can get. As stated previously, the feature is not available across all devices, so we would suggest that you keep checking for update.
