Essential Qualifications
Professor – An eminent scholar with a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, actively engaged in research with a minimum of 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of 120. A minimum of ten years of teaching/research experience is required, along with evidence of having successfully guided a doctoral candidate. Alternatively, an outstanding professional from industry with a Ph.D. and ten years of significant contribution to the field is also eligible.
Associate Professor – A good academic record with a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, a Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks, and a minimum of eight years of experience in teaching/research with seven publications and a total research score of 75, as per UGC Regulations, 2018.
Assistant Professor – A Master’s degree with 55% marks in a concerned/relevant/allied subject, along with a cleared NET (conducted by UGC/CSIR) or SLET/SET, or a Ph.D. Degree obtained in accordance with UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016.
