Essential Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have passed the Senior Secondary Part-II Examination with Science or its equivalent from a recognised university or institution. They must also possess a Diploma in Pharmacy, Bachelor of Pharmacy, or Pharm-D (Doctor of Pharmacy) from a recognised university or institution, or hold a higher qualification in the same discipline. Additionally, candidates must be registered as a Pharmacist with the Punjab Pharmacy Council set up under the Pharmacy Act, 1948. The qualification including registration must be obtained prior to the last date of filling the application form.
Knowledge of Punjabi: No person shall be appointed unless they have passed the Matriculation examination with Punjabi as a compulsory or elective subject, or have passed an equivalent examination in Punjabi language as specified by the Government. As per Government of Punjab Notification No. GSR72/Const./Art.309/Amd.(22)/2022 dated 28.10.2022, no person shall be appointed to any post in Group-C service unless they have passed a qualifying test of Punjabi Language equivalent to Matriculation standard with at least 50% marks, to be conducted by the respective recruitment agency in addition to the competitive examination. Failure to secure a minimum of 50% marks in the Punjabi Language test will disqualify the candidate from being considered in the final merit list irrespective of their scores in other papers.

Selected candidates will receive an initial pay of Rs. 29,200/- per month at Level 5 of the 7th Central Pay Commission (7th CPC) Pay Matrix.
