According to the UIIC Assistant Selection stages, the recruitment of the candidates will be done through the Online Examination and Regional Language Test. UIIC Assistant Selection Process 2026: Online Examination Phase
The UIIC Assistant online exam is an objective test of 250 marks and 120 Minutes duration.
- There is no sectional time limit in the UIIC Assistant Online Exam.
- In the exam, all sections i.e. Test of Reasoning, Test of English Language, Test of Numerical Ability, Test of General Knowledge/General Awareness and Computer Knowledge will be conducted together.
- The objective tests except the “English Language” test will be bilingual (in English and Hindi).
- The aspirants will get a deduction of 1/4th mark for the incorrect answer.
- There shall not be any penalty for the unanswered questions.

UIIC Assistant Selection Process 2024: Regional Language Test
The candidates who will qualify UIIC Assistant Online Examination will be eligible for the next phase of recruitment i.e., the Regional Language Test.
- Those candidates who can produce the certificate, evidencing that they have studied the opted regional language need not appear for the Language Test.
- In the case of others (qualified for selection), specified opted regional language tests will be conducted after qualifying the online exam but before final selection.
- Candidates not found proficient in reading, writing and speaking the specified opted regional language would be disqualified.
- The Regional Language Test is only a qualifying test and marks obtained will not be added for merit list preparation.
UIIC Assistant 2024 Final Selection
The United India Insurance Company will prepare the final merit list state-wise and category-wise after all three stages are completed by the candidate. The UIIC Assistant final merit list will be prepared in descending order of the marks secured by the candidates who qualified in the online examination, subject to qualifying the Regional Language Test.
Candidates who fall within the number of vacancies in the Merit List shall be considered for provisional selection subject to Medical Fitness. After completing the joining process, the aspirants will not be transferred for the next 5 years and will have to serve in the posted location for a minimum period of five years.
