The buzz around Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film The Odyssey continues to grow, especially after new photos emerged from the shoot location in Scotland. Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Zendaya were seen arriving for the filming alongwith the visionary Christopher Nolan, marking their return to the sets after their last schedule in Italy.
As reported by People, Damon was spotted in full costume who portrays the title role of Greek hero Odysseus, while Tom and Zendaya who are engaged were seen arriving together by boat, long both dressed casually and off costume. Director Christopher Nolan was also seen on location, waving at photographers.
Matt Damon was seen in aa Greek-style tunic with cattle armor, dark boots, and a long dark green cape for the role. This was the first time in recent months the film’s cast was photographed on location. The last time the team was seen together was in Favignana, Italy in March where Damon had first revealed his transformation for the role.
Meanwhile, Tom Holland plays Telemachus, Odysseus’ son. The teaser for the movie, shown only in theaters before Jurassic World: Rebirth included a glimpse of Holland’s character in conversation with Jon Bernthal’s role and voiceover from John Leguizamo.

Actor John Leguizamo praised Nolan’s vision and revealed that the film has been shot across seven countries including Morocco, Greece, Sicily, and Los Angeles. He described the experience as working with a true visionary.
The film also stars Anne Hathaway, Lupita Nyong’o, Robert Pattinson, and others. This marks Nolan’s return after the roaring success of Oppenheimer. The Odyssey will hit theaters on July 17, 2026.
With Nolan at the helm and a star-studded cast including Matt Damon, Tom Holland, and Zendaya, The Odyssey is shaping up to be a grand cinematic journey – one that fans are eagerly waiting for.
