Hollywood stars Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie are making headlines once more, this time not for a movie but for their rumored off-screen connection. Reports suggest that the duo who starred together in The Tourist back in 2010, may be quietly rekindling a long-speculated romance.
According to a recent report by Star Magazine, the two have been meeting privately in both Los Angeles and London. “They take extreme measures to avoid detection,” a source told the outlet, adding that while they’ve grown closer, the relationship is still “stuck in first gear.”
The insider claimed, “Johnny has carried a torch for Angie for years.” Though Jolie is reportedly not pushing Depp away, she’s maintaining emotional space. “Angie doesn’t exactly discourage him, but she does maintain some emotional distance,” the source said.
Their connection goes beyond just one film. Back in 2010, both were in other relationships – Johnny with Vanessa Paradis and Angelina with Brad Pitt. Despite that, sources say their on-screen chemistry was undeniable.
Angelina Jolie has also publicly admired Johnny Depp. In a past interview with The Japan Times, she shared that she once had a crush on his character from Edward Scissorhands and thought he was the “coolest thing” for years.
