Ameesha Patel celebrates her 50th birthday today, having been born on June 9, 1975, in Mumbai. She comes from a Gujarati Patidar family. Initially, she served as an economic analyst before making the transition to modeling and acting.
Ameesha’s foray into Bollywood was fortuitous. During a family gathering, filmmaker Rakesh Roshan presented her with the lead role alongside Hrithik Roshan in Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai (2000). The film turned out to be a tremendous success, earning her the Zee Cine Award for Best Female Debut.
