In an old exclusive interview with Lehren Retro, the legendary Feroz Khan – actor, director and father to Fardeen Khan – opened up about his enigmatic personality, his son’s career and his own unforgettable roles. The veteran star known for his timeless intense performances and grey-shaded characters, Feroz Khan left a lasting mark in Bollywood, both on and off-screen.
While he build a mega career, Feroz Khan also left no stone unturned in supporting his son Fardeen’s career – who went on launching him in Prem Aggan (1998) under his direction and later also worked with him in films like Janasheen and Shaadi Dot Com. Though he didn’t direct Shaadi Dot Com, he fully supported the project proving how much he believed in his son.

When asked about his own role in Janasheen, where he played a ruthless character, Feroz Khan responded in his signature mysterious style saying “Feroz Khan is an enigma, and Feroz Khan doesn’t know Feroz Khan himself. So what should I say?” He added, “But I’m playing a role after probably ten years… a negative and ruthless character with many shades of grey.”
The late actor also spoke highly of co-star Celina Jaitley, expressing his belief that she had the potential to become a huge star. His admiration for her talent was evident in his words.
