According to early estimates of Sacnilk.com, Chhaava box office day 1 collection stood at ₹31 crore across all languages, making it the biggest Bollywood opening of 2025 so far. The film’s strong start was boosted by high occupancy rates, especially in Maharashtra.
The movie saw strong footfalls in major cities, with Pune leading at 79.75% occupancy, followed by Mumbai at 62.50%. Other key regions included Hyderabad (56.75%), Chennai (35.50%) and Bengaluru (34.75%). The film’s overall occupancy in Hindi was recorded at 42.02% on the first day with increasing numbers through evening shows.

Competition and Weekend Predictions
So far, Chhaava has had the fifth-biggest Bollywood opening since 2024, trailing only behind Stree 2, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Singham Again, and Pushpa 2.
