Pushpa 2: The Rule box office collections continue to dominate the global market, crossing a staggering ₹1,700 crore mark within 25 days. The film, starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, remains a massive success despite new releases competing for attention.
The film opened with an impressive ₹282.91 crore on its first day, earning ₹781.33 crore by the weekend. By the end of its first week, the Pushpa 2: The Rule box office tally reached ₹1,032 crore worldwide. The momentum carried through the second week with ₹1,479.06 crore and the third week with ₹1,664.38 crore. On day 25, the film added ₹18.95 crore, taking the global total to ₹1,709.63 crore.
Domestically, Pushpa 2 collected ₹1,157.35 crore in total, with its Hindi version contributing ₹753.9 crore. The Telugu version added ₹324.99 crore, while Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada versions together earned ₹78.46 crore. The Hindi version showed strong theatrical occupancy at 34.58%, while Telugu shows logged 29.11% on December 29.
Despite the release of other big films like Mufasa: The Lion King, Marco, Barroz and more, Pushpa 2 continued its unshakable run. Film critic Taran Adarsh noted that the film’s staying power is unparalleled. Directed by Sukumar, this action-drama delves into Pushpa Raj’s struggles to sustain his sandalwood empire amidst mounting challenges.
The fourth weekend showed a 42% growth in collections, with Sunday raking in ₹16 crore. As Sankranthi releases approach, including Game Changer and Daaku Maharaaj, it remains to be seen if Pushpa 2 will maintain its momentum.
Adding to the buzz, the track Dhammunte Pattukora Shekhawat was recently launched, showcasing Allu Arjun’s dynamic moves and Fahadh Faasil’s screen presence.
