A mysterious blast occured at midnight on November 26th around a bar in Chandigarh’s Sector 26. The bar is owned by rapper Badshah, who is a notable artist of the Bollywood industry. Though the blast did not cause any serious casualties, but it raised concerns and also broke several window panes of the nightclub and bar. Although the police got into immediate investigation but the blast was not a minor incident by any small-time prisoner. Once again Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang members have come forward to claim the responsibility of the two blasts. Goldy Brar and Rohit Gondara, two of Lawrence’s special associates publicly accepted that they were behind the blast and also threatened to be doing something even bigger than just this blast.
As addressed by a police official, “A low intensity explosion took place outside De’orra which is near the Sevillee bar and lounge, which is owned by rapper Badshah in sector 26. Both the restaurants are 30 metres away from each other,” Reports suggest two strange men made the blast possible and drove back immediately. Later, a facebook post by GoldyBrar showed him claiming the responsibility of the incident, alongwith a gang member Rohit Gondara. His facebook post read that they tried calling the restaurant owners, but because they failed to respond – he had to take this step of bombing the place.
The incident took place between 2.30am-2.45 am. As soon as the police was informed, the entire team of Chandigarh police, bomb detection squad, Chandigarh Forensic Science Laboratory Team reached the location on time to collect the samples and grab the alleged. However, the two men who ignited the blast had already escaped and could not be arrested at the spot. Police has not issued any final statement about the case, and investigation is still under progress. The Chandigarh officials are looking at the intensity of the scenario and are also figuring out that how the bombing plan was executed.
