Tripti Dimri shot to fame in 2023 with her role in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film Animal, earning the title of “National Crush of India.” Following the film’s impressive box office performance, she starred alongside Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk in her recent hit Bad Newz, which also performed well at the box office. With two successful films under her belt, Tripti is now preparing for her next project, Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, in which she will star alongside Rajkummar Rao in 2024.
While her next film is already creating significant buzz over the internet, a new report suggests that Tripti Dimri has substantially increased her fee per film following the major success of her recent hits, Animal and Bad Newz, even exceeding the fees of well-known stars like Janhvi Kapoor.
For those unaware, Tripti Dimri started her career in the film industry with small roles in films like Mom, Bulbbul, Qala, Laila Majnu, and others. However, despite her decent performances the actress failed to earn major recognition in the industry. It was her standout performance in Animal in 2023, that brought her nationwide fame.
The huge box office success of Animal significantly boosted her stature and ‘market value’. Before Animal, Tripti charged around Rs. 40 lakh per project, but after its release, her fee reportedly rose to between Rs. 80 lakh and Rs. 1 crore for her next film, Bad Newz.
Now according to a report by siasat.com, Tripti has hiked her fee almost 10 times. After the success of Bad Newz, Tripti Dimri experienced a major shift in her career, with her fees rising to Rs. 6 crore per film. Recently, whispers in the industry indicate that she has taken another leap, now commanding an astonishing Rs. 10 crore for her upcoming projects.

On the work front, Tripti will next be seen alongside, Rajkummar Rao in “Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video”, she will also star in films like, “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3” with Kartik Aaryan, and Vishal Bhardwaj’s next action film with Shahid Kapoor.
