Starring Kareena Kapoor Khan the crime thriller opened up to positive reviews and reactions upon its release. However, despite the positive reviews, the film failed to secure a decent opening at the box office, becoming the lowest opener for Kareena Kapoor in the last 15 years.

As per Sacnilk, Kareena Kapoor starrer crime thriller, “The Buckingham Murders”, earned a mere ₹ 1.15 Cr on its opening day (first day) on Friday at the box office. Even though the film garnered positive reviews and generated significant buzz among the public, it struggled to achieve a strong opening at the box office.

As per reports, “The Buckingham Murders” has become the lowest opener for Kareena Kapoor Khan in the last 15 years, with her last film to earn under Rs 3 crore being Main Aurr Mrs Khanna in 2009. The film might experience a boost through word of mouth, and the upcoming weekend (Saturday and Sunday) could further contribute to its growth at the box office.
If all goes well, then Kareena’s The Buckingham Murders can hopefully cross the 5Cr mark by the end of the weekend.
