In the early hours of Friday, fans were taken aback to spot the actress in Mumbai. Her return to Mumbai is for the purpose of launching the trailer of her first Marathi production, Paani.
At the airport, Priyanka Chopra emerged solo and greeted the photographers who were waiting. She was dressed in a floral co-ord set, complete with a crop top and a baseball cap. Several fans expressed astonishment at Priyanka’s swift return to India, with one commenter noting, “Her presence here is quite unexpected.”
Given that the actress was traveling alone without her daughter, some fans speculated that it would be a brief trip, as she typically brings Malti with her to her shoot sets. Last month, Priyanka and her husband Nick Jonas traveled to Mumbai to attend the lavish wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. They attended the event on July 12 and flew back to NYC the following day, as Priyanka was filming for The Bluff at that time.
Priyanka recently unveiled the initial teaser for the upcoming Marathi film Paani, set to hit theaters in October. When it comes to her film The Bluff, it was helmed by director Frank E Flowers and starred actor Karl Urban alongside her. The Bluff tells the tale of a former female pirate, portrayed by Priyanka Chopra.
