BoxOffice: On July 12th, two highly anticipated films hit the theaters: Akshay Kumar’s “Sarfira” and Kamal Haasan’s “Indian 2”. “Sarfira” received positive reviews from critics, while “Indian 2” faced poor critical reception. Sarfira Box Office Collection Day 4
As per Sacnilk, Akshay Kumar starrer “Sarfira” started off slow at the box office. The film earned ₹ 2.5 Cr on its opening day. However, after a disappointing start, the film witnessed growth during the weekend. Sarfira earned ₹ 4.25 Cr on Saturday and ₹ 5.25 Cr on Sunday. However, after registering slight growth through the weekend, Akshay Kumar’s film, Sarfira witnessed a great fall on Monday. Failing the Monday test the film earned a mere ₹ 1.40 Cr on its 4th day. As of now, Sarfira stands at a domestic box office total of approx. ₹ 13.40 Cr.

Indian 2 Box Office Collection Day 4
On the other hand, Kamal Haasan’s film, Indian 2 registered a solid opening worth ₹ 25.6 Cr. However, instead of seeing any growth, the film witnessed a drop during the weekend. Indian 2 earned ₹ 18.2 Cr on Saturday and ₹ 15.35 Cr on Sunday. The film further witnessed a massive fall on Monday. Failing the Monday test, Indian 2 earned only ₹ 3.15 Cr on its 4th day. As of now, Indian 2 stands at a domestic box office total of approx. ₹ 62.3 Cr.

About Sarfira
Based on the Tamil film ‘Soorarai Pottru’ and inspired by Simplify Deccan founder G. R. Gopinath’s life, this movie tells the story of a visionary. His dream was to make air travel accessible to the common man, allowing them to fly for the price of a train ticket or even secure a flight ticket for just one rupee.
Directed by Sudha Kongara Prasad, Sarfira stars Akshay Kumar in the lead role alongside Radhika Madan in the female lead role, and Paresh Rawal in a key role. Meanwhile, South star Suriya will be seen in a cameo role in the film.
