Veteran Bollywood actress Jaya Bachchan is very well known for her candid takes and blunt mouth on every national or bollywood affairs. As the Union Budget 2024 released yesterday, Jaya Bachchan who is also a Samajwadi Party leader expressed her disgrace towards the new Indian Union budget.
In a video shared by ANI, the veteran Bollywood star said she has no reaction on this budget and referred to the newly set Union Budget for the country a complete “drama”. As Jaya quotes, “Ye koi budget hai reaction karne waala. This is just a drama.”
The party leader also took a jibe over the ruling party saying that the promises which are kept inside the papers will never be implemented. With her blunt statements, Jaya did not hesitate to point out towards the ruling party’s unfulfilled promises from the past.

While Jaya showed her utmost disappointment towards the announcement, other Bollywood stars like Kangana Ranaut and Ram Charan praised the decisions taken by Finane Minister Nirmala Sitharaman under the Indian Union Budget 2024.
Jaya Bachchan joined SP in the year 2004 as the member of the parliament representing the state Uttar Pradesh in Rajya Sabha. The veteran star married to Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan in 1973 and have also done several films together. Some of their best performances include Sholay, Chupke Chupke, Abhimaan, Zanjeer. The couple gained a lot of public attention after they were starred in Karan Johar’s Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.
