Animal Vs Sam Bahadur Box Office Collection Day 19: Ranbir Starrer Sees Major Drop

Two major blockbuster films, Animal and Sam Bahadur were released in the theatres this month on 1 December. While Animal recorded one of the biggest openings of the year, Vicky Kaushal’s film Sam Bahadur also made a decent start at the box office. As per the latest reports, after a successful third weekend, both films witnessed a huge drop on Tuesday at the box office.

Animal Box Office Collection Day 19

Animal had a box office opening worth ₹ 63.8 Cr. As per Sacnilk, after seeing a huge rise on its third weekend, the film witnessed a massive drop on Monday and Tuesday. After earning ₹ 15.00 Cr on Sunday, the film made approx. ₹ 5.50 Cr on Monday and ₹ 5.00 Cr on Tuesday, taking the domestic total to ₹ 522.94 Cr. The film earned ₹225.45 crore from overseas. Reportedly, the worldwide collection of the film stands at a total of ₹843 crore.

Sam Bahadur Box Office Collection Day 19

On the other hand, Vicky Kaushal starrer Sam Bahadur had a box opening worth ₹ 6.25 Cr. After registering significant growth on the third weekend the film saw a huge drop on Monday and Tuesday. Sam Bahadur earned a total ₹ 1.65 Cr on Monday and 1.50cr on Tuesday. As per Sanilk, the domestic collections of the films stand at a total ₹ 79.70 Cr. Meghna Gulzar’s film now stands at a worldwide total of approx. ₹105 crore.

Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga Animal is an action drama Pan Indian film featuring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role alongside Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. Apart from them, the film features Bobby Deol as the main antagonist and Anil Kapoor as Ranbir’s father. The film was released in theatres on 1st December.

Directed by Meghna Gulzar, Sam Bahadur is an upcoming biographical war drama film based on the life of India’s first field marshal, Sam Manekshaw. The film stars Vicky Kaushal as Sam Manekshaw alongside Sanya Malhotra as Manekshaw’s wife and Fatima Sana Shaikh as Indira Gandhi. The film was released in theatres on 1st December.
