ISRO Recruitment 2026 Application Fee

Candidates must pay a processing fee of ₹500/- per application uniformly at the time of submission. Of this, an application fee of ₹100/- per post applies, with the balance refunded (in full or after the ₹100/- deduction, as applicable) to candidates who appear in the Written Test/CBT.

Note: Where a university mentions both CGPA and percentage on the certificate/mark-sheet, at least one criterion must meet the eligibility norm. Where only CGPA is mentioned, conversion to percentage is not permitted to determine eligibility, and vice versa.

What is the Age Limit for ISRO ICRB Recruitment 2026?

The age limit is 28 years as on 16.08.2026 (31 years for OBC candidates and 33 years for SC/ST candidates, wherever posts are reserved). Age relaxation is applicable for serving government employees, Ex-Servicemen, Persons with Disabilities, meritorious sportspersons, and widowed/divorced/judicially separated women (not remarried) as per Government of India orders.

Skill Test (on Computer): Covers MS Word (35 marks), MS Excel (35 marks), and MS PowerPoint (30 marks), with a duration of 75 minutes.

Stenography Test (for JPA/Stenographer): Shorthand dictation of 300 words at 60 words per minute (5 minutes), followed by transcription on computer (30 minutes). Pitman’s shorthand is required; longhand is not permitted.

The Written Test will be conducted at 38 venues across India, including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Patna, Pune, and Thiruvananthapuram, among others.

ISRO Recruitment 2026 Salary

Selected candidates will be appointed as Assistant/Junior Personal Assistant/Upper Division Clerk/Stenographer in Level 4 of the Pay Matrix, with a minimum basic pay of ₹25,500/- per month. In addition, Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Transport Allowance are payable as per extant rules. Employees are covered under the New Pension Scheme, and are also eligible for medical facilities, subsidised canteen facility, limited quarters facility (in lieu of HRA), Leave Travel Concession, Group Insurance, and House Building Advance as per Central Government orders.
