Kangana Ranaut Fires Back At Rahul Gandhi's PM Resignation Demand: “Why Should The PM Resign? He Is The Most...”

Actor and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut has reacted strongly to the recent protest led by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi outside Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence in Delhi. The protest, held over the ongoing student issue and the demand for the Prime Minister’s resignation, has sparked a fresh political debate.

Kangana Ranaut Reacts To Rahul Gandhi’s Protest Outside PM Modi’s Residence

Speaking to ANI, Kangana questioned why the protest was allegedly directed towards the Prime Minister’s residence when it could have remained at the designated protest site.

Expressing concern over the incident, Kangana said, “A huge security breach occurred yesterday, and Rahul Gandhi tried his best to direct the protesters towards the residence of the Prime Minister. When a protest was taking place at Janpath, then why was Rahul Gandhi trying to direct the protest towards the PM’s residence?”

She further added, “This is a matter of great concern for the nation. You know how protestors have been threatening, and then Rahul Gandhi does this. This is a matter of great concern for all. On NEET, the govt is making all efforts. Why should the PM resign? He is the most popular leader in the world.”

Why Did The Protest Take Place?

The demonstration came after opposition MPs observed a ‘Black Day’ protest by wearing black clothes in Parliament. Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Mallikarjun Kharge, Akhilesh Yadav and several opposition leaders demanded the Prime Minister’s resignation while raising concerns over the education system, alleged exam irregularities, and the reported police action against protesting students.

According to reports, police later removed the leaders from the protest site near the Prime Minister’s residence.

Priyanka Gandhi Responds

Reacting to the criticism, Priyanka Gandhi defended the protest and alleged that the opposition was not being allowed to raise student-related issues inside Parliament.

She said there was “nothing undemocratic” about protesting outside the Prime Minister’s residence and claimed that debates on the issue were being blocked both inside Parliament and on the streets.
