What is the Ministry of Cooperation Internship Eligibility?
Candidates must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the internship:
- Enrollment: Must be a student with a Graduation or Post-Graduation degree enrolled in a recognized University/Institution within India. Students appearing for their final exams are also eligible.

Selected interns will be paid a monthly stipend based on their qualification level. Additionally, a performance-based incentive is available.

Note on Stipend:
- Performance Incentive: An additional performance-based incentive of ₹5,000/- per month will be paid to eligible interns from the Cooperative Education Fund (CEF).
- No Stipend: No stipend shall be paid if the student leaves the internship before completing one month.
- Proportionate Payment: Subsequently, the stipend will be paid proportionately depending on the period of internship.
- Deduction: Absence of more than 2 days in a month will cause a deduction of the stipend amount equivalent to the number of days in excess of 2 days.

Selection Process
The selection of interns will be done on a “Merit” basis.
- Scrutiny: All online applications received will be forwarded to the concerned Heads of Verticals/Divisions.
- Internal Committee: The Divisional Head will form an Internal Scrutiny Committee comprising subject experts and other officers.
- Selection: The committee will select the interns based on merit. The decision of the Divisional Head on the selection of a candidate is final.
- Notification: The list of selected candidates will be displayed on the official website of the Ministry.
- Number of Interns: Each Head of Division can take one (01) intern per discipline at a time, with a maximum of one intern in the unit across the five disciplines.
