CSIR-AMPRI Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility requirements as of the last date of submission of online applications (19th February 2026).
A. Educational Qualification & Experience
1. Junior Hindi Translator (JHT-01):
Essential:
- Master’s degree from a recognized university in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as a compulsory/elective subject or medium at degree level; OR
Master’s degree in any subject other than Hindi/English with Hindi/English medium and English/Hindi as a compulsory/elective subject at degree level. - Recognized Diploma/Certificate in translation (Hindi to English & vice-versa) OR Two years of translation work experience in Central/State Government offices.
- Job Role: Assist in implementing Official Language Policy, translate official/scientific documents, prepare reports.
2. Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS-01):
- Essential: Matriculation (10th Class) or equivalent pass.
- Desirable: Intermediate (12th Class) pass and experience in relevant work area.
- Job Role: Office maintenance, hospitality services, horticulture, transport, record keeping, photocopying, guest house upkeep, driving, etc.

B. Age Limit
- Junior Hindi Translator: Maximum 30 years.
- Multi-Tasking Staff: Maximum 25 years.
- Age Relaxation: Not applicable for SC/ST/OBC candidates in this cycle as vacancies are Unreserved (UR). Age relaxation is applicable for PwBD candidates and others as per GoI/CSIR rules.

The selection for the posts will be based on the following stages:

AMPRI Salary 2026
Selected candidates will be placed in the respective Pay Matrix Levels as per the 7th Central Pay Commission, along with allowances as admissible to Central Government employees.
