Vijay Deverakonda is often in the news not just for his films but also for his rumoured relationship with Rashmika Mandanna. Even though the duo has never officially confirmed their relationship but fans have always believe they’re already a perfect match. While Vijay gears up for the release of his next big film Kingdom, slated for 31st July 2025, he recently opened up in an interview about how he’s missed out on spending time with his loved ones especially with his girlfriend.
In a candid conversation with Cinema Vikatan, the actor admitted that work has been his top priority for years. Being both an actor and an entrepreneur, he revealed how his passion for cinema consumed most of his time and leaving only little space for personal moments. “Work gave me everything that I have – it gave me love, respect, comfort. It gave me the life I can now share with my parents and family,” he shared.
He spoke about being so driven to succeed that he didn’t realise how much he was missing out on everyday life. “This has been my top priority. It came above relationships, above everything else. But in the last two years, I started to grow. I realised I wasn’t really living. I asked myself – where did my life go?” he said.
Vijay then mentioned how he barely got to spend time with his parents, friends, or girlfriend. That realisation made him shift gears. “I didn’t want to feel that way anymore. So now, I make time for my mom and dad, my friends, and yes, my relationship. I want to live life a little, not just chase dreams,” he added.
Interestingly, fans had speculated earlier that Vijay and Rashmika might have celebrated her birthday together in Oman. Though neither of them confirmed it, their solo pictures from the same location hinted at a secret vacation.
Vijay Deverakonda’s honest reflection shows a man who’s evolving not just professionally but personally.
