Job Description
Amazon is seeking highly motivated individuals with a strong analytical background to join its Data Science internship program. This role demands leadership potential, analytical acumen, and hands-on experience in developing scalable models to solve complex business challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage statistical techniques and data analytics to enhance customer experience and support business decision-making.
- Identify predictors and develop forecasting models to address business problems.
- Conduct in-depth analyses to discover opportunities for improvement and deliver actionable insights.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration on data-driven initiatives with high standards of analytical rigor.
- Investigate and resolve root causes of operational issues using structured problem-solving techniques.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Should be available for a full-time internship without any academic or employment conflicts.
- Selected candidates will be required to submit a formal availability declaration, duly signed by their university.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of statistical tools such as R, SAS, Matlab, and SQL.
- Familiarity with model training, validation, deployment, and data transformation techniques.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks including TensorFlow, PyTorch, MXNet, or Caffe.
- Exposure to big data technologies such as Apache Spark or Hadoop.

Amazon internships require a full-time commitment. Interns must be available throughout the internship duration without any parallel engagements such as classes, academic projects, or other jobs.
