Actress and model Shefali Jariwala, who gained fame for her striking role in the 2002 music video Kaanta Laga, has sadly passed away at the age of 42. Her unexpected death has left both fans and members of the entertainment industry in a state of shock and disbelief.
It has been revealed that Shefali’s final post on X was a poignant and distressing tribute to her late ex-boyfriend and fellow Bigg Boss 13 contestant, Sidharth Shukla. Sidharth, the winner of Bigg Boss 13, tragically passed away in 2021 due to a sudden cardiac arrest. To honor the anniversary of his death, Shefali shared a touching old photograph of the two of them embracing on the reality show. “Thinking of you today mere dost @sidharth_shukla,” she captioned the image. Devastated fans are widely circulating the post after it resurfaced online following the recent events.

Reflecting on their relationship, Shefali had previously discussed it in an interview with BollywoodLife, stating, “Initially, we connected, but then we had a significant disagreement. After he returned from the secret room, our relationship improved. Both of us are quite logical individuals. Additionally, we share similar interests; we would converse about travel, space, bullet trains, and much more. Even after our romantic relationship ended, we remained friendly whenever we encountered each other.”
Long before her marriage to actor Parag Tyagi in 2014, Shefali and Sidharth had a short-lived romance over 15 years ago. The duo was considered one of the most beloved pairs on television, often seen together at various events and sharing glimpses of their lives on social media.
On Thursday, Shefali reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest at her residence in Andheri. Parag, along with a few close friends, rushed her to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital immediately; however, upon arrival, they declared her deceased. Parag was observed weeping outside the hospital, visibly distressed. The results of the post-mortem examination of her body, which has been transferred to Cooper Hospital, are expected to be released soon.
