This may be attributed to the operation’s recent development and the delicate circumstances surrounding the matter.
On Wednesday, the entire nation of India was alerted to a singular term — Operation Sindoor — as the Indian Armed Forces targeted nine terrorist launch sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) during the early hours, in retaliation for the horrific terrorist incident in Pahalgam that occurred on April 22. As news circulated, numerous Bollywood personalities, including Akshay Kumar, Kangana Ranaut, and Riteish Deshmukh, publicly praised the Indian Armed Forces.
Currently, Bollywood figures have refrained from making any public statements regarding Operation Sindoor 2025, likely due to the operation’s recent execution and the delicate nature of the circumstances. It is reasonable to anticipate that Bollywood stars will eventually share their perspectives on Operation Sindoor once the situation becomes more stable.
On Wednesday morning, the Government of India issued an official statement to inform the Indian Armed Forces launched ‘OPERATION SINDOOR’, hitting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir from where terrorist attacks against India have been planned and directed. Altogether, nine (9) sites have been targeted.”
The statement further read, “Our actions have been focused, measured and non-escalatory in nature. No Pakistani military facilities have been targeted. India has demonstrated considerable restraint in selection of targets and method of execution.”
These measures follow the heinous terrorist attack in Pahalgam, which resulted in the deaths of 25 Indian nationals and one Nepali citizen. We are fulfilling our promise that those accountable for this atrocity will face justice,” it stated.
In an update shared on X, the official account of the Indian Army declared, “Justice has been delivered. Jai Hind!”
