After much controversy and allegations on stand-up comedian Samay Raina and podcaster Ranveer Allahabadia, the comedian has finally deleted all the episodes of his show. The 18 episodes in total. were there on the youtube with different judges on the panel. The video that had once garnered massive views in crores and millions, were decided to be taken down after the Ranveer Allahabadia’s viral joke controversy grasped the attention. While Samay announced the deletion of all his posts, actor Aly Goni came out in his support. Goni, praised his hardwork and bashed the audience as well as the authorities who forcefully urged to delete all the episodes of the show, while it was just a single joke that made the controversy.
Aly Goni Defends Samay Raina Amid India’s Got Latent Controversy
Sharing his thoughts on social media, Aly Goni wrote on X, “They forced Samay to delete all the episodes of latent.. not cool.. that 1 episode should have been deleted that’s it.. He has worked hard to make this show successful.. where everyone was praising him few days back now everyone is against him lol kya yaar“. His message was to defend all of his hardwork and show his disapproval on the constant bashing that he is receiving.

Public REACTS To Aly Goni’s Comment
Netizens have reacted variously on this very comment by Aly Goni. While many came out in Aly’s support, siding Samay Raina’s show “India’s Got Latent”, others criticized Aly for his statement. A user expressing utmost disapproval to what Aly said stated, “Can anyone say anything about parents, This guy was laughing and commenting. And here you are saying, kya year, how can you take side for such wrong thing?“. A second user mocked saying “Sab OTT Wale Mile Hue Hain”.
However a handful of people also agreed to what Aly said. An individual commented on his tweet that politicians are lamenting more than anybody else on the joke. While a second user said, “They are just jealous of the people sitting at the top. Kisi ki success hajam nahi hoti logo ko. As if they themselves are doing a lot for the betterment of the society.”
It is yet to be announced if there are to be seen any more consequences of the India’s Got Latent and Ranveer Allahabadia’s controversial row. Post deleting all the videos, Samay took to his social media handle pouring out his thoughts. His message read, “Everything that is happening has been too much for me to handle. I have removed all Indias Got Latent videos from my channel. My only objective was to make people laugh and have a good time. I will fully cooperate with all agencies to ensure their inquiries are concluded fairly. Thank you.”
