Inder Kumar On His Horrific Accident
During the filming of an action sequence in the 2002 film Maseeha, Inder suffered a serious injury that led to a prolonged recovery period. The accident not only caused immense physical pain but also affected his professional trajectory. He had to step back from several projects due to his health issues, which significantly slowed down his career. He once opened up to Lehren Retro, sharing his thoughts on the same. While he communicated about his feelings post recovery, he shared how people welcomed him like they always knew that Inder will be back sooner.

When asked in the interaction whether Inder ever really took inspiration from Akshay Kumar, while performing action sequences, he said that he never really took inspiration from Akshay Kumar, but he really respects his demeanour and charm that the actor holds. Calling Akshay a skillful star, Inder said that whatever Akshay does is really something like a real hero. “Akshay jo bhi karta hai ek real hero ki tarah karta hai, and I really respect Akki for this,”claimed Inder.
He further thanked Nana Patekar for being with him in this tough time, regardless of not having any good connection with Inder, and expressed gratitude to the other people who were a part of that particular film.
