The popular actor-singer Guru Randhawa gets injured while attempting a stunt for his upcoming film Shaunki Sardar is currently recovering in the hospital. The singer-actor shared a health update on Instagram, posting a photo of himself wearing a cervical collar around the neck and resting on a hospital bed. In his caption Guru Randhawa wrote, “My first stunt, my first injury, but my spirit remains unbroken. A memory from the sets of Shaunki Sardar movie. Bahut mushkil kamm aa action waala, but will work hard for my audience.”
Fans and fellow celebrities flooded the comments section with concern and well wishes. Mrunal Thakur reacted in shock, saying, “Whatttt,” while Anupam Kher encouraged him with “You are the bestest. Got will soon.” Mika Singh also wished him a speedy recovery, writing, “Get well soon.”

What Really Happened on the Sets of Shaunki Sardar?
The accident occurred while filming an intense action sequence. Sources close to the production revealed that Guru was performing the stunt himself when an unexpected mishap led to his injury. Though details remain undisclosed, the team has assured fans that he is receiving proper medical attention. Set for a May 16 release, Shaunki Sardar is directed by Dheeraj Rattan and stars Guru Randhawa alongside Nimrat Ahluwalia. The film is backed by 751 Films, revolves around love, loyalty and cultural pride.
