Reports of Govinda, divorce from his wife Sunita Ahuja have been circulating online sparking widespread discussions online. The rumours gained traction after a Reddit post and a Zoom report, both of which were later deleted. However, the speculation isn’t mending to stop which now led to family members stepping in to clarify. While Govinda’s niece Arti Singh and nephew Krushna Abhishek dismissed the claims, the actor has now briefly addressed the matter without going into details.
Speaking to ETimes the Hero No. 1 actor didn’t indulged much into the actual matter but kept it short stating, “There are only business talks going on… I am in the process of starting my films.” Meanwhile, Sunita Ahuja has not responded to messages or made any public statements regarding the rumuors.
Additionally, Govinda’s manager Shashi Sinha on the matter keeping his response in line with the actor’s statement. He said, “There have been issues between the couple due to certain statements made by certain family members. There is nothing more to it. Govinda is focused on starting a film, and we have artists visiting our office. We are trying to resolve things.”

While no official confirmation has been made, ETimes quoted a source claiming that “Sunita apparently sent a separation notice a few months ago, but there has been no further movement on it.”
The rumors about Govinda and Sunita Ahuja’s divorce started gaining attention after Sunita recently made several statements in interviews, offering rare insights into their marriage. She revealed that Govinda is not a romantic person in real life and that he never plans to travel, as he is always occupied with work. Further fueling speculation went on Valentine’s Day, when Sunita was spotted with her son Yash Vardhan and paparazzi asked about Govinda, she cheekily responded, “Hello, happy Valentine. Sir apne Valentine ke saath hai. Gadbad mat samjhna. Woh apne kaam se bohot pyaar karte hain na, toh kaam unka valentine hai.”
While the divorce rumors continue to circulate, nothing is confirmed until the couple speaks directly about their relationship.
