‘Chhaava’ Box Office Collection Day 5: Vicky Kaushal’s latest historical drama Chhaava is making waves at both Indian and global box office. The film directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan under his renowned banner Maddock Films, released on February 14, 2025 and has been performing consistently. On its fifth day Chhaava recorded a collection of ₹24.50 crore keeping its momentum strong after a slight dip on Monday.

According to the reports in Sacnilk, the total domestic collection of the film now stands at ₹165 crore in five days. The film saw an uptick of 6.50% on Tuesday, signaling a positive trend among audiences. Given the special day of Chhatrapati Shivaji Jayanti marking today, trade analysts expect another boost in collections particularly in Maharashtra. Meanwhile, talking about Chhaava’s worldwide collection stands at Rs 195.6 crore as per the industry tracker Sacnilk, with the film’s overseas earnings standing at Rs 27 crore now touching ₹200 crore very soon.

Right from its opening day, Chhaava showed strong numbers, collecting ₹31 crore on Thursday, followed by ₹37 crore on Friday and ₹48.5 crore on Saturday. Sunday added more to the tally before MOnday saw a dip of 50% bringing in ₹24 crore. The Chhaava box office day 5 performance indicates a solid hold, outperforming several recent releases in the same timeframe.

Comparisons with past Bollywood hits show Chhaava climbing up the charts. The film has already surpassed the lifetime collection of Raazi (Rs 123.74 crore) and is now targeting Dunki (Rs 227 crore) and Uri: The Surgical Strike (Rs 244.14 crore). With its current pace, the film might even challenge Sanju (Rs 342.57 crore).

Chhaava brings the story of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj to life, with Vicky Kaushal playing the lead. Rashmika Mandanna stars as Maharani Yesubai, while Akshaye Khanna’s portrayal of Aurangzeb has been widely appreciated. The film also features Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, and Vineet Kumar Singh in key roles.

With strong performances, positive word of mouth, and a growing audience, Chhaava is looking at a promising box office journey ahead.
