For the first time ever, the Oscar-winning composer Rahman’s wife Saira Banu gave an answer, putting a fullstop on all the question marks amid the fans.

Saira Banu Opens Up On REAL Reason Behind Divorce
A latest audio clip that is doing rounds on the internet noted Saira speaking about her divorce. She started off as, “This is Saira Rahman here. I’m currently in Bombay. I’ve been physically unwell for the last couple of months. So that’s the reason I just wanted to take a break from AR, but I would request the entire YouTube YouTubers, the Tamil Media, please please do not say anything bad against him. He’s a gem of a person, the best man in the world“
She also stated that she is currently under treatment in Mumbai itself. Because she did not wish to disturb husband AR Rahman amid his busy schedule, nor the kids,she is here all by her own and would leave for Chennai as soon as she begins to recover. Prior to Saira Banu’s public message, multiple statements were released via Mohini Dey, Saira’s lawyer Vandana Shah and afterwards, also Rahman’s layer Namitha – but speculations and questions to know the bitter truth continued to spark amongst the audience. Though fans are still not satisfied to with health concerns being the legitimate reason for divorce, but are atleast willing to give the family their secured space of privacy as they pass ahead of this news.
