Vasan Bala’s directorial Jigra has quickly become one of the most anticipated films of the last few months of 2024. As soon as the teaser for the movie went out, fans hailed the artists and await its release. Starring Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina, the film is slated to release under Dharma Productions, in the Hindi cinema. However, South superstar Jr. NTR has a request ahead of its release that Karan Johar should release it into the Telugu cinemas as well.

In a latest interaction held among Jr. NTR, Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt, Jr. NTR expressed his wish claiming that Jigra should release in telugu cinemas as well and should instead be dubbed by the boss-lady Alia Bhatt herself. NTR who will is soon coming with his next film Devara: Part I, during a conversation with KJo bumped in saying, ‘Let’s make Alia dub for Jigra in Telugu’. Cut to his next question, where he goes on asking Karan whether or not Karan is planning to release Jigra in Telugu. Doubtful of attaining regional success, Karan asks him if Jr. NTR really feels that Jigra should be dubbed in Telugu, the RRR actor replied, ‘ Yes, I think emotions work in all languages.I think you should not stop.’ Adding further Jr. NTR confesses how people in the Southern region are loving Alia Bhatt and she should be chosen for a telugu version dub of the film too.
Devara: PART I and JIGRA are two big-projects, aiming to earn huge amount at the box office upon their release. While Jigra arrives on the 11th of October, the Jr. NTR and Janhvi Kapoor starrer releases this Friday, on September 27th, 2024. In the Devara X Jigra interaction, Jr. NTR also talks about his film and experience while working with Janhvi Kapoor as his co-actor. Previously, he has worked with Alia Bhatt for RRR, which was a blockbuster hit in the cinemas.
