Internet sensation, Abdu Rozik who rose to immense fame in Indian households during his participation in the reality show, Bigg Boss 16, announced his engagement earlier this year. However, as per the latest reports, it has been revealed that just 6 months into his engagement, Abdu has called off his wedding plans with his fiancee, Amira, ending his engagement as well.
Abdu Rozik Ends His Relationship With Fiancee, Amira
Tajik singer and Bigg Boss 16 star Abdu Rozik, who surprised fans with his engagement earlier this year, has now canceled his wedding to fiancée Amira. Abdu first shared the news in May and was set to marry the 19-year-old Emirati girl from Sharjah on July 7. However, the wedding was postponed because of his busy work schedule.
According to a recent report by ETimes, Abdu Rozik has announced that his wedding has been officially canceled. He explained that the main reason behind this decision was due to cultural differences between him and his fiancée. Although Abdu had deep feelings for Amira, he admitted that the cultural differences between them made it challenging for the relationship to move forward.
He stated, “As our relationship developed, we encountered some cultural differences that ultimately influenced this decision”. He added, “As you all know, I am recognized as a person of determination, which brings challenges in everyday life. It requires a partner who is mentally resilient.”
Abdu also admitted that it wasn’t easy to end things with Amira. “This relationship was very important to me, but I understand that both partners need to be prepared for the journey ahead”, he explained.
Though the breakup has been tough, Abdu is staying hopeful. “I trust that love will find me again when the time is right,” he said, showing a positive outlook for the future.
Abdu Rozik’s Engagement
For those who don’t know, Abdu and Amira got engaged in Sharjah, UAE, back in April 2024. They marked the occasion with an intimate ceremony at Majlis Sharjah, attended by their close family members. Abdu even gave his followers a peek into the special event by sharing moments from the celebration on Instagram.
