While the fans came out with a wide cheer on their face, Shraddha Kapoor-Rajkumar Rao starrer horror-comedy did wonders on its day 1, incuding the night shows of August 14th. The film solo, has earned a whole of Rs. 55 crores net already, inclusive of the paid preview and night shows collection.
Maddock Films is being highly appreciated for its one of the biggest production made so far of the year, that continues to surpass big superstars like John Abraham and Akshay Kumar on Independence Day release. A twitter report informs the earth-shattering performance by Stree 2 turned public so crazy that it led to capacity issues at several theatres. While the shows consistently went houseful, the ratio of viewers willing to watch the movie on DAY 1 exceeded the number of shows/seats in theatres. This is a rare moment and Shraddha Kapoor becomes the first-ever actress of Bollywood to be leading the record so far.

The early estimates of the film that calculated 45 crores net collection overall, reached to the final earning of 55 crores+ let alone on the first day. Film critics who are all praises for the performance show immense admiration towards the characters.
Fans and moviegoers speculate the film with its constant collection will definitely go on a record breaking height, surpassing the old records of Prabhas’ films alongwith the Khans old projects. Stree 2 has already surpassed the 11 years records of Chennai Express in its paid previews. Sharing the calculation to X, a journalist wrote, “Wo stree hai kuch bhi kar sakti hai” to which many affirmed as they come by watching Shraddha ‘s performance in the film.
