When asked if this was a by-product of financial security, Kriti clarified that it’s not about finances. Her parents always ensured that she and her sister never felt any financial pressure. Kriti Sanon still has a joint account with her father, which opens her connection to her middle-class roots.
Kriti also addressed the trolling actors face when they refer to themselves as ‘middle class’. She explained that she has genuinely been part of the upper middle class but not someone who has been “extremely rich or wealthy”. She candidly revealed that even though she still has a joint account with her father, she has “no idea how much money is coming in and going out. Even today. Now, I’ve started being a little more aware, asking, ‘Tell me how much is there'”.
Kriti Sanon is the eldest in her family, with her younger sister Nupur Sanon also working as an actress and singer. Their father Rahul Sanon, is a chartered accountant, and mother Geeta Sanon, is a physics professor at the University of Delhi.
