Bastar X (Twitter Review): Films Opens To “Poor Reviews”, Fans ‘NOT’ Satisfied

Bastar: The Naxal Story: After delivering the film, “The Kerala Story”, filmmaker Sudipto Sen is back with his much-anticipated film, “Bastar: The Naxal Story”. Starring Adah Sharma in the lead role the crime drama was released in the theatres on 15 March. However, unlike their previous film, “The Kerala Story”, Bastar has opened to poor reviews from the moviegoers and public who stated that the film couldn’t live up to expectations. Sudipto Sen’s film, Bastar: The Naxal Story is actually based on and inspired by the real-life story and events surrounding the Naxals in Chattisgarh. The Bastar rebellion, which erupted in 1910, unfolded in what is now Chattisgarh.

Soon after the theatrical release of the film a segment of early watchers and moviegoers shared their reviews and watching experience of the film. Unfortunately, the crime drama failed to receive positive reviews from both the public and the critics who claimed that the film fell short of the expectations.

The climax and bgm could have been better.”

Directed by “The Kerala Story” filmmaker, Sudipto Sen, the Bollywood crime drama, Bastar: The Naxal Story was released in the theatres on 15 March 2024.
