AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D has started to receive the much-awaited price just a few months after its launch and can be bought for as low as $406 US.
AMD's Most Popular Zen 4 3D V-Cache CPU, The Ryzen 7 7800X3D, Now Available For As Low As $406 US
The AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D launched in April 2023 for an MSRP of $449 US. The CPU started to receive major price cuts by retailers literally a month after its launch. These price cuts make the newest V-Cache chip even more affordable and more attractive for gamers who want the best gaming performance out of their PCs.
In the US, the chip saw a price drop of $399 US while in China, the CPU fell $20 US below its MSRP. Now it looks like more retailers are offering price cuts including eBay where the authorized Newegg seller has the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D listed for a price of just $406 US. That's the lowest price of the CPU so far at any retailer and while you can still get the chip for $399 US at Micrcenter as a part of their latest promo, you'd also have to buy an AM5 motherboard. So unless or until you don't have an AM5 motherboard already, you're still paying $419.99 US at Microcenter.

The other two 3D V-Cache CPUs, the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D and the Ryzen 9 7900X3D are also available below MSRP with the flagship available for $627 US and the latter available for $459 US. All three chips come bundled with a copy of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor which is an additional $60 US worth of value.
So based on the prices, it looks like the trio of Zen 4 3D V-Cache can be purchased for around -$10 US off at major US retailers. These are only the price cuts for the first few months and we can definitely expect even more promos and deals in the second half of 2023.
