Apple looking to introduce hearing health features with future AirPods in the next two years
Mark Gurman from Bloomberg highlights in the new version of his newsletter that Apple is gearing up to expand health-related features to additional products. Currently, the company is looking at the AirPods which could potentially serve as a hearing aid for users that have a hearing impairment. According to the prominent analyst, health-related features will be available in the coming years.
Apple is gradually transitioning to introducing health features in its lineup. The Apple Watch is a perfect example of the approach as it gains new features almost every year. Last year, the Apple Watch Series 8 introduced a temperature sensor that can track your body's temperature while you sleep and a Cycle Tracking feature. Henceforth, the AirPods could play a vital role to help users with hearing disabilities.
Take note that this is not the first time Apple has considered using the AirPods as a tool for health-related features.
