Finding Deleted Apps on Android
1. Google Play Store
Google Play Store already has a feature that lets you check previously installed apps. Since it’s a native feature, you don’t need to download a third-party app or sign-in separately. Before you move on to the steps, make sure you’re logged in through the same Google Account previously used. This also helps in restoring previous purchases if any.
Firstly, open the apps section, scroll down to Google Play Store and open it. Next, from the top left corner, tap on the three horizontal line menu options which will open a sidebar showing My apps & games, Subscriptions, Account details, etc.
From the sidebar, tap on My apps & games which will take you to the app library. It not only consists of the apps that we’re looking for but also new app updates and currently installed apps.
My apps & games section also lets you manage apps from the Manage your apps option. This way you can uninstall the apps without going into individual app pages
To view previously installed apps, tap on the Library section from the top of the page. On this page, you’ll be able to find all the apps you’ve ever downloaded. Since you don’t have a search option, simply scroll down to find the app you’re looking for.
By default, you get a date wise sorting, so you will find the most recently installed apps at the top. You have the option to change the sorting alphabetically as well.
Once you find the app you’re looking for, you can either tap on the app to view the app details page or use the quick install icon to the right of each app. Here’s a quick tip, if you cannot find the app you’re looking for, try changing your Google account from the top-right profile picture icon on the Play Store homepage.
2. App Install History
Since there is an app for everything on Android, there’s an app to check install history as well. Out of the many benefits, the need to open the Play Store each time is easily eliminated. So you can place the app icon on your home screen and you’re good to go.
It has a simple Play Store listicle type UI. In addition, it also shows installation date and the ability to open the app info page with a single tap. Unlike Google Play Store, you can sort by the first install date as well.
Google Play Store vs App Install History
If you ask me there are pros and cons for both. If you’re using the Play Store you can easily switch between multiple accounts which isn’t the case with the App Install History. Google Play Store scores another point for not showing ads which is a major concern for many.

Conclusion
If you ask me, I prefer the native method because you don’t need an extra app installation. However, if you’re someone like me who tests tons of apps, going with the App Install History app is a more viable option.
